Dear Parents & Caregivers
An information night for children commencing Prep at Our Lady of the Assumption School in 2010 will be held in the school Library on:
TUESDAY 20th October, commencing at 7.00 PM
Prep 2010 Powerpoint Presentation
This is an opportunity for parents to gain insights into how Prep will operate in 2010, hear ideas about how to prepare your child for the beginning of formal schooling, meet the teachers, meet other parents of Prep 2010 and to ask any questions pertinent to Prep. This is not an event for the children.
I have enclosed an Information Gathering Sheet that will assist greatly in our planning for next year’s Prep. I ask that you return this sheet on Tuesday the 20th October or post it to the school if you cannot attend on this evening.
There will be two opportunities for the children to attend an orientation session at OLA in November (about 1.5 hours). You may choose to come to one or to both orientations.
TUESDAY 17th November AT 9.00 AM
WEDNESDAY 18th November AT 12 NOON
The children will get to meet their classmates, meet their teachers, have a tour of the school and to engage in some fun activities. Meanwhile, the parents will have a further opportunity to meet each other, have a cuppa and to talk about serious things such as uniforms.
